The BIBD Mega Karnival 2025 was officially inaugurated on 26 November 2025 at Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas, with the Minister of Home Affairs and Chairman of Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Berhad (BIBD), Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, as the guest of honour.
This five-day event featured a variety of community activities, including family-friendly entertainment and strong support for local entrepreneurs.
Also in attendance was Pehin Kapitan Lela Diraja Dato Paduka Goh King Chin, Managing Director of GHK Motors Sdn Bhd, whose Mitsubishi XForce was showcased as the grand prize for the carnival.
